Planted Aquarium Algae Cleaner: Amano Shrimp & Otocinclus Arnoldi

When a tank is heavily planted, there are two helpers you would need to help you clean the algae.

• Amano Shrimp
• Otocinclus Arnoldi

Amano shrimps clean a wide range of different type of algae, especially hairy algae. They will consume leftover fish food and detritus as well.

Otocinclus Arnoldi works hard cleaning algae on the side glass, driftwood, decoration, gravel, and plants as well. They are smaller in size, comparing to other type of sucker fish. Due to it's size, it can clean tiny fragile leaves or stems of plants, making them excellent choice for planted aquarium.
